I am delighted to share my knowledge of our beautiful city, Connemara, the Burren and the Aran Islands.
Born and bred in the ‘City of the Tribes’. Originally from Dangan in Galway from a farming background and now living in Maree, Oranmore.
I love the sea (calm or rough), coastal areas and offshore Islands. I love Food, Irish Music, all things Maritime, Connemara and the Burren.
I am passionate about Irish history and cultural heritage.
I love to take visitors on a walking tour of our medieval city, dating back from early part of the 13th century, to the present day. Some of the highlights of the story of Galway include Eyre square, Tribes of Galway, Lynch’s Castle, St Nicholas Collegiate church, The Lynch memorial window, the Claddagh, Spanish Arch, Kirwans lane, House of the Red Earl, Galway City Museum, Maritime history.
